I'm So Glad I'm Me

My sweet baby girl in her dance costume. Tonight is when they take the individual and group pictures for her dance class and I had to get some of my own. The name of the song they are dancing to and singing is called "I'm So Glad I'm Me!"

"Clowning" Around

Molly has an obsession with shoes. I mean, it doesn't matter whose shoes, she is going to put them on and wear them around the house. Tonight, she put on Brian's shoes and they were so heavy that she couldn't get around very well. I quickly grabbed my camera and thought she looked just like the clowns with the big shoes.

"I Wide da Twain...I Wide da Couch...I See da Hattah Bunny"

The girls have been talking for days about going to see the Easter Bunny, ride the train and ride the carousel. I love the way that Molly says says these phrases...I will miss it when she says them correctly.

"I Wide da Twain" - I ride the train

"I Wide da Couch" - I ride the couch (meaning she rides the carousel bench and not the horse)

"I See da Hattah Bunny" - I see the Easter Bunny

The funniest part is that Molly talks and talks about going to see the bunny and ride the train but when we get there, she wants no part of either one. Now, I didn't expect her to like the Easter bunny when we got there. She is just at that age. But she loves trains, but wouldn't get on. Her sister didn't have a problem and rode for the longest time ringing the bell all the way around.

Finished Quilt

I have been working on a quilt for Brian's aunt for about six months now. It took me so long primarily because I only had short segments of time to work on it and because I really didn't know what I was doing. His aunt had a box full of ties that were her late father-in-law's and couldn't find anyone who would make a quilt out of them. I obviously wasn't smart enough to know to say no when she asked me!! Ha, just kidding. Anyway, after cutting 480 squares out of these ties, sewing them all together, connecting them together with the off-white material, sewing the batting and backing on and then hand tie-ing the quilt together...I am finally finished. I do have to admit that I didn't want to give it back to her because I was so proud of it.
