My Sanity is Returning!!

Today, the girls started back to Mother's Day Out. I couldn't believe how much I got done in just 5 hours. We had not had MDO for over six weeks. I think the girls were getting tired of me! I actually loved going to Walmart today...no girls! So peaceful.

My Soccer Ballerina

Macy started playing soccer this fall. We weren't sure how she would do or if she would even like it. Of course, she loved getting new shoes and new clothes and a cool ball...and she is even getting a "power pink" jersey with her name on it. What little girl would not love that? When Macy was trying on her cleats that we bought her, she began doing "pleas and arabesques." I said, Macy...this isn't exactly what you will be doing.


At this point in the practice, Macy stopped and said, "Coach, I need a break!" Too funny!

Feed the Children

When Molly woke up this morning, Brian said that he thought she looked like the poster child for Feed the Children with the way her hair looked.

Shoes

The girl already knows how to wear the shoes!

Cinderella at the Library

My friend Jennifer invited us to go to the downtown library to watch a marionette show of Cinderella. I just knew the girls would absolutely love that. Jennifer brought her daughters Claire and Ava, Ellen brought her girls Carley and Lily and I brought Macy and Molly. They had so much fun together.

After the show, the girls played for a while in the play area of the library. They even had a little stage and puppets and the girls had fun putting on a show of their own.

Day at the Park with Daddy

Brian was off from work today and we decided to take the girls to the park. They always love going and we always keep the extra bread to take to the ducks.

A couple of weeks ago, Brian was showing Molly some videos of Whitney Houston on youtube. Ever since then, she has been singing at the top of her lungs with her play microphone. Tonight...we were trying to just get a little of it on video....we got more than we bargained for!! This will definitely be sent to Funniest Home Videos...watch out, we are going to be millionaires!! So, here it is... "I Have Nothing" by Whitney and Molly.

Relaxing in the Pool

My friend, Betsy, invited us to go to the pool with her today. She had a really neat float that Macy fit just perfectly in. She had fun relaxing.

Wild Turkeys

A family of wild turkeys is in our yard every morning and every evening. There are about 15 new baby turkeys. They are so cute. I thought this picture was so neat showing where they walked in the dew on the grass.

Molly has great fashion sense, doesn't she? Gotta look good while you're cleaning.

Fun with Friends

Claire and Ava, friends of the girls, came over to play on the waterslide today. We had a little picnic and then they played for a couple of hours. Well, Claire played on the waterslide...fortunately, Ava just nibbled and ate the whole time. She just turned one and is at that stage that her mommy has to chase her everywhere. So, her mommy, Jennifer, was very thankful for the food distraction. The girls has so much fun!


Ava's mommy couldn't believe that she smiled for me...she said that she has the hardest time getting her to smile. Look at that cute face!

Princess Party for 3

The girls were invited to a princess party of three of their friends, all sisters. Ashley, Laura and Emily were 5, 3, and 1 respectively. Their birthdays are all within a month of each other, so their mommy had their party together. The table was completely decorated in princess "stuff" down to the silver teacups with choice of lemonade or chocolate milk poured out of silver teapots. Each girl was given a cute purse and boa. After lunch and "tea" they went outside to play on a waterslide and swingset.
