Done With Her Nap...well, Not Really

I was sitting in the chair when Molly got up from her nap today. I saw the door open and saw her come out....but then I didn't see her. I couldn't figure out where she had gone until I heard very deep breathing.


She had fallen back asleep on the floor right outside her door. Too funny. I decided to just leave her there to finish her nap. About thirty minutes later, she got up again and got on the couch with Brian. Next thing I know, she is on the couch asleep AGAIN! She must have really been tired.

Like Father, Like Daughter

Molly loves having her arms or her back scratched just like Brian does. It is so funny to see how much alike they are.

Baby Travis

Our sweet friends, Dennis and Betsy, adopted the most precious little boy back in October. I have gotten to enjoy seeing him get bigger and bigger. Tonight, we went to their house for dinner and I was able to take the cutest pictures of him. He was blowing bubbles and then he began to smile and laugh and it was absolutely precious!!

Getting Along

I had to capture this moment on camera because I knew it probably wouldn't last long, and it didn't!! They were so sweet laying there together watching a movie.

Snow Day

Well we finally had snow. It wasn't much...but it was still snow and the girls absolutely loved it. The schools were closed for three days, which is kind of a joke around here. After that many days of being in the house, no school and little snow to play in...I was so ready for the girls to go back to school. I think they were ready too.

Molly is 3

My sweet baby girl...I can't believe you are 3. Time has gone by so fast. You have grown so much, not only in height, but in the words and sentences you use, and the things you are able to do. You certainly have your own opinion and way of doing things...that is part of what I love about you. You have the sweetest smile and the best laugh. You love for me to tickle you and play "ask me a question." You love your sister so much and love playing "simon says." Daddy and I love you so much and are so proud of you. We can't wait to see what the next year brings.

Molly's Birthday Part 2

We wanted to do something new and different for Molly's birthday, especially since it was right after Christmas. So last night, we decided to take her to a hibachi restaurant. She absolutely loved it. The fire. The tossing food. The onion volcano. All of it.


Macy absolutely loved it too.


This morning we went to Dunkin Donuts (you're welcome, Julie) and we had candles to sing her happy birthday.


Molly then decided she wanted to go to the church and play. That was certainly fine with me. They had to place all to themselves until right before we left. Their friends from school and dance showed up and Molly showed them how to "slide" down the ramp. Loved it!

Molly opened her presents from us and was so excited when she got ALL 7 PRINCESSES!! Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Aeriel and the new Princess and the Frog Tiana.

We then had birthday cake. Brian had gotten her this sweet cake from Whole Foods. It was just the right size and was so yummy!
