Fun at Ninnie's House

There is always fun to be had at Ninnie and Granddaddy's house. Molly figured out she could climb up the ladder of the slide and slide down all by herself. Mommy and daddy were very glad of this as well since now we don't have to lift her over and over and over. Macy and Molly created a game out of sliding. The one who slid first would stay at the bottom of the slide and the other would slide into them. They would just giggle and giggle. It was wonderful seeing them play so well together.

Behind Ninnie and Granddaddy's house is a huge corn field. The girls had fun exploring (only so far) and figuring out exactly what it was. Macy quickly figured out that there was corn growing on the stalks. So, before we knew it, she pulled an ear of corn off and began to shuck it...as if we had already shown her how (which we hadn't). She did it perfectly...all the way down to the silk. She said, "mommy, there is hay on it." I said, "no baby, that is the silk." She said, "ok, I need to take the milk off." I said, "no, the silk, not the milk."
